Counter Handbook exists because of recommendations from people who know North Andover. If you have discovered a restaurant or local business that deserves to be listed here, we want to hear about it. Submission takes two minutes, and our verification team reviews every nomination carefully.

What we need from you:

What they do and what makes them worth mentioning
Your contact email (so we can follow up if we have questions)

What to Expect and When

When you submit a business for consideration, here is what happens on our end. First, we acknowledge your suggestion and verify the business actually operates in North Andover. Then we check the basic signals that matter: active licensing, clean recent inspection history, and—if we cannot find public data—a conversation with the owner.

You will hear from us whether the business makes it onto Counter Handbook or not. If it does not, we let you know why, so the nomination process is transparent. If it does, you will see it listed within two weeks of our final approval.

What We Respond To

Counter Handbook lists businesses that operate at a level of care. We are looking for places that respect their craft—whether that is pizza, steaks, seafood or something else entirely. The shared signal: the owner or kitchen team takes the work seriously. We skip places that are purely transactional or that have patterns of health or labor concerns.
